Our incredible voice program provides training for students of all levels in areas including Opera, Pop, R&B, Dance, Soul, Jazz, and Rock. Students receive outstanding vocal training and coaching by our distinguished instructors and are encouraged and mentored to develop their talents to the highest levels. The voice program offers both private, one-on-one lessons, as well as group classes and master classes. We are also the home of the Southern California Children’s Chorus, one of the most honored and respected youth choruses in the U.S.
We also provide classes in music business prep, performance preparation, and career development. Teachers provide instruction in demo recording, which takes place in our onsite recording studio, auditioning for TV singing competitions, branding on social media, and the management and production of record deals.
Our students have access to OCMD’s new, state of the art, and professionally managed recording studio. Under the guidance and assistance of our recording engineer, students can cut demo and audition tapes, as well as full recordings.
In addition to recitals, we offer public performances in our 150-seat black box theater, complete with a Steinway grand piano, 21 foot LED screen, and professional lighting and sound.
The School offers scholarships up to 90% of full tuition. Eligibility is based on the California National School Breakfast and Lunch Program criteria. Scholarships can also include covering expenses for instrument rental. Please contact OCMD at (949)386-8336 to learn more.

You can register for any of our classes or lessons online, via telephone, or in person at OC Music & Dance. Classes can be found under each programs menu. There will be a Sign Up! button next to classes that are available to accept enrollments. If you don’t see a Sign Up! button, the class has already started. Tuition for classes is set by each individual instructor and varies based on class type, number of students, and level.
Yes, we do! OC Music & Dance was founded on the principle that all children should have the ability to participate in performing arts programs, no matter their ability to pay! Scholarshipsmay be awarded to students under age 18 for up to 90% of the tuition price. Additional funds are available for supplementing family resources to rent an instrument or other critical expenses pertaining to the student’s participation at the School.
